Yacht Charter Q&A's

Q. What qualifications do I require to charter a yacht from you?

A. We require you hold a Day Skipper practical certificate and a VHF certificate, ( As a Day Skipper will also need to provide a verified resume of your sailing experience and have one other person with sailing experience on board).

Q. Is there any restriction on where I can go on my charter?

A. We restrict Day Skippers to the Solent, with the submarine barrier at South Sea being the boundrey to the east and Hurst Castle to the west. RYA Coastal Skippers my go further afield, but not accross the channel. Skippers holding a Yachtmaster certificate of compitenece may go any where.

Q. What is provided with the charter booking?

A. Your charter package includes pillows and pillow cases, normal consumables in the galley (tea, coffee, salt, pepper etc)

Q. What about fuel and gas?

A. Gas is included, there will always be a full spare bottle on board, fuel is charged at £3.50 per engine hour, ot the yacht can be returned with a full tank.
